So I just bought a place down here and have an apartment in downtown Brooklyn. Honest to god this food is consistently amazing! They make home made duck sauce! The Hawaiian coconut shrimp is awesome. Great standards including crab Rangoon, chicken with broccoli, hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, General Taos chicken...this place is a find! Oh and they deliver!

I absolutely refuse to go anywhere else for Chinese food. I am in love with China Sea, they are on speed dial on my phone, and their location is permanently stored in my vehicle's GPS. I think I'm addicted to China Sea. The best day of my life was when my son was born. The second best day of my life was when I married my wife. The third best day of my life was when I discovered China Sea. When I die, I wish to be buried with a General Tso chicken combo from China Sea. I am pretty sure my blood alcohol content is .13 eggrolls. If you're reading this review and not eating China Sea because it is closed right now, then I feel horrible for you; I'm sorry. If you're reading this review and not eating China Sea during business hours, you need to fix yourself, because you are wrong.

5 stars for what it is: fast food Chinese. It's quiet, air conditioned, and it is definitely run by a young family. I only ordered shrimp egg rolls, but the cabbage was crisp and fresh, and tasted like it hadn't been frozen. This is right next to my new salon location, so I will be back!

Doh! Perhaps the worst Chinese food experience ever! Was a regular here...I am pretty sure I won't ever order from here again. It took an hour for delivery at 4:00 in the afternoon. $30 later is is my story: Tonight's general Tso's is a pile of over-cooked bread nuggets with a sauce that I can't quite figure out...but unlike anything I've ever had resembling General Tso. (funny my spellcheck keeps trying to change that word to "toss" which is what my stomach felt like doing when I tasted it) The crab rangoons are literally empty shells...well, I wish that was completely true....they have the essence of something white in them...almost none. Except for the grand prize this evening: a big black bug (looks like a bug...I am not certain) in one of them! I called the store and they took my number and said my next order of rangoons is free...I wonder if they'll toss in an extra insect next time for good measure. If you want my free order, you're welcome to it. VERY DISAPPOINTING END OF THIS RELATIONSHIP. Update: I called back again and they are sending the driver back out to get the food and return my money, except for the soda which I opened. So I am upgrading this review to two stars for at least their effort the second time. I still won't ever order from here again.

Really enjoyed the food but I'll get to why I was upset. Would have been a 5. Overall the place is in a shopping strip, which is great because we were going to get subway but seen Chinese food and it's a weakness to me. They have great portions and options to choose from, everything is fairly priced too, which we noticed when you get closer to the pier your going to drop close to 20 on one meal, so 8 is a blessing. Food was hot and service didn't talk much just took the order. I got up to use the restroom and going to the bathroom under the sink was a roach.. I understand Florida has a bugs, everywhere has bugs but that's not something you should ever see. I was grossed out I didn't finish the food and left. Maybe if it's gets cleaner I'll give it a try another time.

I've eaten at China Sea probably 8-9 times with family members over the past year, always with good, solid results. It's located in the Publix shopping center on the northeast corner of Curlew and Hwy 19 N. China Sea is a typical Chinese take-out/delivery place, with just a few tables for eating-in, while the dining area and bathroom is clean and neat. Service has always been prompt for both eat-in, take-out and delivery, with friendly staff always eager to help. I've had a number of different dishes, including chicken & broccoli, both Kung Po and Szechuan shrimp (both spicy), and chicken/shrimp/pork fried rice. I also usually get wonton soup (very cheap to add to combo meals), egg roll, and the occasional cheese rangoon. Every single dish has been consistently well-cooked and seasoned, with abundant portions that leave plenty for 1 or 2 leftover servings. Value is excellent with reasonable prices for both combo dinners and lunches, as well as the standard boxed entrees. The scores on my "Chinese-take-out" scale: Atmosphere: 4 Service: 5 Food: 4 Value: 5 I've been disappointed with so many other Chinese take-out places in the area compared to many cities I've eaten in, and China Sea stands above the other Chinese take-out places I've eaten at. Hint: Take a good look at their printed menus in the store for coupons.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
